Entering the 2014 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, all expectations were for a close battle for the conference crown. The Aurora University men figured to be in the mix for their first NACC Championship and through day one of the two day meet, the Spartans held a 2.5 point lead over rival MSOE 64.5 to 62. The came day two of the meet and the Spartans ran away with the schools first NACC Outdoor Championship, winning by a huge margin, 286.5 to 157.5.
